Forehead

The frontalis muscle, located in your forehead, raises and lowers your eyebrows. Our patients often request BOTOX Cosmetic treatment for muscle relaxational this area. Careful injections can help achieve smoothness in your forehead without causing it to look "frozen." You may begin to see results within the first 48 hours. However, it can take up to 14 days to notice the full effects, which may last up to four months.

Bunny Lines

BOTOX Cosmetic is an effective treatment for the lines that appear horizontally across the top of your nose when you laugh or smile deeply. Depnding on severity, these lines may be softenedwith just an injection or two on each side of the nose. Results typically last up to four months.

Jelly Roll

"Jelly rolls" are bulges located just below the eyes that are visible when you're laughing smiling, or squinitng. They may cause puffy eyes or the apperence of exhaustion. A "gummy smile" can be mitigated by precisely injecting BOTOX Cosmetic into a few of the muscles that raise your lip. This treatment will lower the upper lip, which in turn helps cover the gums as you smile. Results can last up to four months.

Jawline Reduction

If you are unhappy with the size of your jawline, we may suggeest BOTOX Cosmetic injections to soften the masseter muscle. Relaxing this muscle can help you balance facial features and reduce the jawline's prominence. With this treatment, some patients see results lasting as long as six months.

DAO

Regardless of age, many patients complain of drooping at the outer corners of their lips. Whether this is a new sign of aging or has been an ongoing issue, BOTOX Cosmetic can help. The DAO, or depressor anguli oris, is the muscle responsible for that downward pull. A minimal amount of BOTOX Cosmetic cna be injected into each side of the mouth for a subtle improvement in downwards corners, with results typically lasting about three months.

Platysmal Bands

BOTOX Cosmetic is a simple, effective method for treating overly prominent platysmal bands, the two strips of muscle that start at the base of your neck and run up the front and right sides, ending at the jaw. Treating your platysmal bands helps these muscles relax, which can result in a smoother, more youthful appearence. The effects of these injections may last up to three months.

If you're looking for a mild form of calf reduction, BOTOX Cosmetic may be the answer. Multiple Injections to the calf muscles can reduce muscle activity, causing them to shrink. Inactive muscles will gradually become smoother and show less definition, without restricting  calf function. While results are temporary, they may last as long as nine months.

If you suffer from sever sweating that interferes with your social and professional life, you may have hyperhidrosis, a condition that causes excessive sweating. Whe injected into the underarms, plams, or bottoms of the feet, BOTOX Cosmetic may block the chemical signals that stimulate sweat glands. This, in turn, should help reduce excessive sweating for up to 6 months.

Kybella is a prescription medicine used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called "double chin."

It is not known if Kybella is safe and effective for the treatment of fat outside of the submental area or in children under the age of 18.

Kybella uses deoxycholic acid, a naturally occuring molecule in the body that helps break down fat. Injecting it causes fat cells to be destroyed, taking a few weeks for the body to expel fat.

• You can apply ice in the first 48 hours to help with swelling and discomfort
• Avoid strenuous activity for 3 days after your treatment
• Sleep with your head elevated for 3 nights after your treatment to help minimize swelling
• Do not scratch, pick at, massage or manipulate the treatment area

• Nerve injury in the jaw (which can cause an uneven smile or facial muscle weakness)
• Trouble swallowing
• Injection site problems including: bruising, hair loss, open sores (ulcers), damage and tissue cell-death (necrosis) around the injection site. Call your healthcare provider if you develop open sores or drainage from the treatment area.

Juvederm is a common filler used to restore facial contours and improve the signs of aging using hyaluronic acid as a base. This treatment focuses more on facial features including the cheeks, lips, and around the mouth.

Restylane is an injectable filler made from hyaluronic acid that is not sourced from animals. It was the first hyaluronic acid filler approved by the USDA and is commonly injected into the subdermal layers of the skin to treat laugh lines and marionette lines. These can be moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds and can last anywhere from 6-18 months depending on the area being injected.

B-12 shots are great for people who are deficient in this vitamin. For the first two weeks, B-12 shots are injected into the muscle every other day for the first two weeks. After that, you will need a shot every 1-3 months.
